The role and position of the Chancellor within the university administration: The chancellor is the highest administrative officer at a university. The Chancellor plays an important role in the relationship between the office of the Chancellor and university autonomy. University autonomy refers to the independence and self-governance of a university with respect to its academic, organizational and financial affairs. As the chief administrative officer of a university, the chancellor is intimately involved in implementing and ensuring university autonomy. The independence and self-governance of a university are of great importance for its successful development and success in teaching, research and transfer. University autonomy enables universities to make decisions on their own responsibility and to respond flexibly to current challenges and needs. In summary, the chancellor is a key player closely linked to university autonomy. Through his or her work, the chancellor supports the implementation of autonomy principles and helps ensure that the university achieves its strategic goals and successfully fulfills its mission. I would like to elaborate more of my education background. I finished my Secondary Form 3 at S.M.J.K (C) Hua Lian, Taiping and managed to score 3A, 2B, 2C & 1D in my P.M.R examination. I studied at S.M.K Andersons Ipoh for my Secondary Form 4 & 5 and managed to be one of a high achiever’s in S.P.M examination Year 2000 with 6A1, 2B3, 1C6 & 1D7 (Bahasa Malaysia – D7, English – C6, Moral Education – B3, History – A1, Mathematics – A1, Sciences – A1, Additional Mathematics – B3, Commerces – A1, Principle of Accounts – A1, Economics – A1). I’ve studied Form 6 in SMK Anderson, Ipoh. The Malaysia government has announced that students who score 10 A’s or more in SPM will now be guaranteed a spot in Matrikulasi, regardless of race. Half way through my Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, I've decided to change my course to Business Administration majoring in Finance. I've transfer from Bachelor of Information Technology (Honours) Information Systems Engineering, Multimedia University with CGPA 2.34 out of 4.00 and score of (1A-, 1B, 3B-, 2C+, 2C and 1F) to BBA Finance with Multimedia (Faculty of Management). After changing my course to Business Administration, I was awarded a Dean List for my first trimester and I also awarded another Dean List later during Trimester two 2004/2005 session. Besides this, we go to the new village to understand them better and helped to inculcate the impotency of education. I’ve went for a job interview and I was rejected again. After my final IMPERIAL EXAM paper in Multimedia University, I’ve packed my bags and went back to Penang.
